Are their whites who feel that affirmative action is bad for this country?

I am always hearing this crap on yahoo answer a lot. Maybe if this country did not have a history of being racist, maybe there would have not been a reason to have affirmative action. Secondly where in the affirmative action act that states you have to hire minorities in your company? Because where I work we have about 1,000 employees and I am the only black in the place. So my job is not meeting its minority numbers. Maybe the answer is that some whites may think they are entitle to jobs because they are white. The last time I check the majority is still making the most money. The majority is still getting access to capital more than the minority.
