Hydrogen bonds differ from covalent bonds in that....?

The answer is D. Covalent bonds involve the sharing of electrons and end up with no charge (if it had a charge, it would be ionic) Hydrogen bonds are most commonly seen among water molecules. The way a water molecule is structured is where the hydrogen is on one side and the oxygen is on the other. This makes the hydrogen side slightly positive and the oxygen side slightly negative. The slightly negative side then attracts the hydrogen from another water molecule and that creates a hydrogen bond.
